C&S was founded in 1946 by a military veteran, as a humble deli and ice cream parlor. It grew to retail all sorts of foods, snacks, and condiments for daily life.

The original C&S was a reflection of post-war America. It was an anchor in its community, a place where all were welcomed. All the prepared products, like ice cream, were produced on-site, with locally sourced ingredients. The company was reborn in 2024 with a vision to resurrect iconic brands in the food and beverage sector.
